ICEdot Coming to an Athletic Event Near You

Summer is officially here which means all that training is being put to the test during athletic events.  Events are happening all over the country and we’re happy to report that ICEdot is in the thick of it all.  For those of you that don’t know, ICEdot offers a free event service called,  It works by connecting event participants’ bib number to their identification, medical information and emergency contacts.  This weekend alone is being used by:

  • The Warrior Dash
  • Bicycling Magazine Open Philadelphia
  • The Kidney Klassic 5K
  • The Orphan Run
  • The American Diabetes Association – Tulsa Tour de Cure
  • Oklahoma City Pro AM Classic
  • King of Moore Criterium

We hope that our service gives you just a little more confidence to go all out in your event.  We’re thrilled to be a part of these great organizations and events. If you know of an event that you’re doing and feel like we should be there please tell us or better yet tell the event itself about us!  It’s free for the events and free for participants.

If you are participating in one of these events don’t forget to update the emergency profile we send you with emergency contacts and any medical information that might come in handy during an emergency (asthma, diabetes, any meds a medic should know about etc).

We offer this same type of emergency ID for your everyday training in our sporty-looking wristband we simply call, The Band.  If you exercise outside you should wear one…actually I can’t think of one person that shouldn’t wear one…it’s just a good thing to have in life.  And it’s only ten dollars!  You probably spent more than that on your last couple packets of energy gel.

You can find all kinds of updates on these events, meet fellow participants and see what our ICEdot Athletes are up to on our Facebook and Twitter pages.  We’d love to have you join our community.

We’ll see you out there this weekend.  Have fun and be safe!
