ICEdot Sponsors 2012 EMS on the Hill Day

Tulsa, OK., March 20, 2012- ICEdot, an emergency identification and notification service, will serve as the official sponsor for the 2012 EMS on the Hill Day in Washington, D.C., which occurs today and tomorrow. Emergency Medical Service (EMS) practitioners from across the country will gather in the nation’s capital to educate congressional leaders about the issues faced by the EMS community and advocate for the passage of key legislation.

EMS on the Hill Day is hosted by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) and co-hosted by the American Ambulance Association (AAA) ICEdot serves as a pillar sponsor of both of these organizations. The two day event will be attended by all sectors of the EMS community with the intent to develop and strengthen relationships with U.S. House and Senate leaders in order to pass legislation affecting EMS practitioners and their patients.

EMS on the Hill Day events will include an AAA Reimbursement Task Force meeting and pre-Hill visit briefing meeting today. On Wednesday, March 21, EMS providers will attend scheduled meetings with U.S. House and Senate leaders. The event will conclude with a post-Hill visit reception.
